Amazing #TeamDrew Transformation

Everyone meet Bjorn from Sweden:

Here is Bjorn's story:

When I started on my journey from fat to fit, I had already been hitting the gym regularly (3-5 times a week) for about 5 years. When I started out all those years ago, my goal wasn't to lose weight, but to bulk up. As it turned out I really enjoyed working out. My muscle mass was increasing and I stayed motivated. However, as time went on, I peaked and stopped seeing progress. I needed a new goal: I wanted to lose weight (fat) and get fit.

This is where I ran into trouble. I was working out regularly, so why wasn't I already fit? Maybe it was genetics? Maybe it wasn't even possible for me to get fit? This was to me the biggest challenge of all when trying to get fit: staying motivated without knowing what results to expect. The fear of doing it all for nothing was quite real. After all, you sacrifice a lot with no guaranties of pay-off. I tried to loose weight on several occasions, but every time I ultimately gave up because I concluded that I probably couldn't get fit anyway.

My latest attempt, however, was different. I found this website that made me want to try again: By then, Drew was already well into his fit2fat stage, and his before and after (well, ongoing) pictures were what really inspired me. Before that, I was convinced that fit guys couldn't get fat, that they were blessed with superior genetics. However, seeing this super fit guy turn into an average fat Joe made me realize that anyone could get fit with the proper motivation; and now I had mine!

I started following Drew's program pretty much to the letter. As I was already working out, the most significant changes had to do with food. In the beginning of his fat2fit stage, Drew highlighted that  diet is more important than exercise. He did this by focusing exclusively on his diet for the first month, and still lost weight even though he didn't exercise. In a way, my experience further proves his point. I worked out for 5 years, all the while ignoring my diet, and didn't lose any weight. Once I started eating right, the weight started coming off. In total, I've lost 25 kg (55 pounds) and 22 cm (8.6 inches) from my waist over the course of 26 weeks.

I would like to thank Drew for giving me the motivation and the tools to change my life. You taught me that anyone can get into shape, and that you really can't out-exercise a bad diet.
