LOW CARB/KETO Mug Cake Recipe!

Hey everyone!

So today I want to share with you guys this super simple and super easy mug cake recipe!

What’s great about it is that it’s so easy to make! I love it, my daughters love it! You can make it for breakfast, as a dessert, or even as a snack.

Are you on the Keto diet and find yourself missing bread? This recipe is for you! It’s a GREAT alternative.

So! Grab your favorite mug and get ready to make yourself a super tasty treat!

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp coconut flour (make sure it’s 2 exactly since this flour is very dense and absorbs any moisture)
  • ½ scoop of your favorite protein powder (This bumps up the cake’s protein. I prefer chocolate for this recipe)
  • Dash of salt
  • Dash of cinnamon
  • Pinch of baking soda
  • 1 tsp sweetener (I use Lakanto Monk Fruit sweetener, but you could use any really, even liquid stevia)
  • Splash of heavy cream (or unsweetened almond milk if you prefer less fat)
 

Directions:

Grab yourself a fork and stir it up really good. Then pop that mug into the microwave!

I found that the perfect cooking time for this is 1 minute and 12 seconds. I noticed that if I cook it for any less than that, the bottom doesn’t cook so well.

Voila! You have a perfect low carb/keto mug cake!

**If you’re Keto top it off with some butter!

My kids LOVE this for breakfast and it makes for a great snack or dessert!
