How To Use Mushrooms To Become Superhuman

In all seriousness, I can’t wait to share with you guys, how I’ve used magic mushrooms to become…superhuman? Is that the word I want to use to describe how freaking magnificent I feel?


Let’s go with superhuman.

Now, these mushrooms aren’t actually THOSE kinds of magic mushrooms, that McGruff the Crime Dog warned us about and told us to, “Say No To Drugs”.

I call them magic mushrooms because the way they enhance my life is just…magical, but in reality, they are classified as superfood medicinal mushrooms.

When most people think of mushrooms, they think of either cooking mushrooms such as Portobello, or psychedelic mushrooms that make you trip the F out.


We’re not talking about either one of those.

Today, I’m gonna share with you the most researched medicinal mushrooms, and the four that I have adopted and use on a regular basis to boost specific areas of my life.

Thanks to these mushrooms, I sleep like a baby and STAY asleep All.Night.Long. I haven’t gotten sick in years, my strength has increased during my workouts, and my productivity is on fire thanks to enhanced focus, concentration and memory.

It sounds like a bunch of exaggerated, made up crap, but when you consume powerful, quality, and carefully processed superfoods, you retain so much medicinal properties that they go to work with your body to produce an elevated version of you.

And you don’t even have to take my word for it! There are tons of reviews and praise for these types of mushrooms all over the internet. All I ask is that you keep an open mind, maybe read some reviews, and if you feel called to, give these mushrooms a try.

I could talk about these mushrooms all day long, and this post doesn’t even begin to fully cover everything that these mushrooms are capable of. In this post, you’re going to learn specifically what properties I use them for and how. If you want to learn more in-depth about each individual mushroom have at it! You will be blown away by the many disease fighting properties they each contain.

Before we get to the good stuff, I want to make one thing crystal clear:  I consume these mushrooms on a regular basis. Because of that, I teamed up with a company called Four Sigmatic that took these mushrooms and created a product that makes it super easy and convenient to consume these superfoods.  In this post, there will be affiliate links to their site and the products, ONLY, because this is the way that I consume these mushrooms. I would never share with you anything that I wouldn’t do or take myself. I only teamed up with Four Sigmatic because I happen to love the way these guys have taken these gross looking mushrooms, and made them into an edible and easy product to consume. They are the easiest most effective way that I have found to consume these mushrooms without sacrificing quality or potency.

Okay, now that that’s clear, let’s get into the four types of mushrooms that I use to upgrade my health, my life and become superhuman.


What is it?

Chaga, or the “King of Medicinal Mushrooms” as many like to call it, is a one of the

Strongest, anti-viral and anti-inflammatory agents on the market today. The benefits of chaga has been used for centuries by people in Siberia, Russia and other parts of Asia.

What does it do?

Chaga mushrooms promote balanced immune system which might lower inflammation and improve your ability to fight infections, bacteria, colds, and viruses. I use Chaga during the winter months when sickness seems to be everywhere, if I’m traveling a lot to help recover from jetlag, or if I’ve derailed from my eating habits and want to support my immune system in detoxing from the junk.

What is it?

Cordyceps Mushroom come from an Asian mushroom known as Cordyceps sinesis (C. sinesis), which sprouts from the body of dead caterpillar in the wild. Oh man, the shit we’re willing to take to get an edge. Gross I know, but oh so effective. Cordyceps is categorized as a medicinal mushroom with thousands of years of use in Chinese medicine.

What does it do?

Cordyceps is what’s called an ADAPTOGEN. Adaptogens are a group of non-toxic, non habit-forming substances that help your body to adapt to your environment. For example, if you’re experiencing a lot of stress, adaptogens help your body adapt to that stress and handle it better. Which is why it works so great as a pre-workout supplement, because working out puts stress on your body and this herb helps your body to better cope and handle that stress. This mushroom has become a popular health tonic, widely known for its non-steroidal athletic performance enhancing abilities.  Not only does this mushroom support better and strong workouts, it supports your adrenal glands and helps produce and maintain constant energy levels.

I like to take cordyceps about 30 minutes before my workout to enhance my endurance and performance, pretty much to seem like a badass at the gym.

Lion’s Mane

What is it?

Lion’s Mane is a fungus that had been used by traditional Chinese and Japanese medicine throughout history, and is consumed in many other Asian countries like Korea and India. According to world renown fungi expert Paul Stamets, “lion’s mane may be the first “smart mushroom,” providing support specifically for cognitive function, including memory, attention and creativity.”

What does it do?

Lion’s mane is all about supporting your nervous system to enhance cognitive performance. It has been speculated that Buddhist monks consumed Lion’s mane tea for centuries before meditation, in order to enhance their powers of concentration. Lion’s mane is popular for improving focus, concentration, memory and brain power. Before starting my work day, I like to add Lion’s mane to my bulletproof matcha tea. I take this on the days when I need some help focusing on tasks, if I’m experiencing any sort of brain fog or just on the days when I feel overall mentally tired and can use some support.

What I Use



What is it?

Native to parts of Asia, including China, Korea and Japan, reishi mushrooms are a type of fungus that grow outdoors. As an “immune modulator,” reishi is known to support your immune system, may help restore hormonal balance, and protect against numerous illnesses and disorders.  According to certified doctor of natural medicine, Dr. Josh Axe, “One of the best things about using reishi mushrooms is that they’re capable of doing so much, yet compared to medications they’re non-toxic and produce hardly any side effects of all. In fact, most people notice a quick improvement in their energy levels, mental capabilities and moods while also experiencing a reduction in aches, pains, allergies, digestive issues and infections.”

What does it do?

Taking reishi mushroom is one of the best ways to enhance your sleep. It winds you down by naturally regulating the hormonal system and lowering cortisol levels. Reishi increases the amount of and enhances quality of deep, slow-wave sleep. Reishi has many, many disease fighting properties, but I specifically like to use it in the evening, as my version of a night cap. It helps me relax, calm my mind, wind down and improves my sleep.

Final Note: Just like food, you don’t want to O.D on ONE specific thing. I don’t use ALL of these mushrooms, all day, every day. I take them as needed, and depending on my goal. So be smart about it, these are potent superfoods. I recommend you try one at a time, for a few days, just to see how your system responds.
