Everyone meet Austin from Eagle Mountain, UT:

Here is Austin's story:

In August of 2011 I went home after playing basketball on a Saturday morning. As I was getting out of the shower I decided to weigh myself for whatever reason. At this point in my life I didn’t really feel too overweight or unhealthy because I stayed active. I weighed in at 334.8 lbs. I couldn't believe I had let myself go that far.  I'm 6'6" so I'm a big boy, but there was something about that 330+ lbs that effected me. 

I decided I needed to do something about it. I did okay for a while then fell back into old habits. In June 2012 I came across Drew’s fit2fat2fit story. I was very impressed with his story. I thought the whole idea of gaining weight then losing it was crazy and it inspired me to make some changes! I read the book and the rest was history.

I still can’t get enough of the spinach protein shake. I started doing the meal plans and even took on some training sessions with Drew since I live in the same town. I became a regular at the gym. Since my start I have lost some weight, ran countless 5K races, and two half marathons! I now weigh 275.2. I'm happy with my success so far, but I now feel like I am stuck at this weight. I still have a gut and some love handles I want to get rid of.  I have been doing CrossFit since August of 2013 with Drew at Saratoga Springs Crossfit in Saratoga Springs, UT and I am loving it. Overall I am proud of my of my weight loss and other accomplishments but there is still room for improvement. I am excited to kick it up a notch and see the results of it.  Like Drew says, it's a Lifestyle, NOT a Diet, so there is no finish line!
