Everyone meet Matt from Chicago:
Here is Matt's amazing transformation story:
Guess what day it is? No, it's not hump day. It's day 182 of 183 of my fat2fit journey. Six months ago I embarked on this journey expecting another "diet" I'll derail from in a week or two from starting it. I'm 29 years old, 6 feet tall and weighed in at 257.4lbs on the morning of Day 1. This morning, I weighed in at 206.6 for a total loss of 50.8lbs! When I started, I believe my body fat % was near 30 or above, it is now around 19%. I want to THANK Drew for sharing his journey with us. He helped me change my lifestyle for the better.
I started the journey following his meal plans exactly as he wrote them. The weight was coming off at about 1-3lbs a week. Due to some resonating laziness, I did not start the workouts until week 16. At week 16, I started with his week 5 workouts. I have seen noticeable gains in definition and an overall sense of confidence in my physical fitness. I weighed myself every Friday morning using the same scale, in the same location before the 16 ounce bottle of water chug! I kept progress by documenting the weigh ins every week. I purchased his supplements several times over the course of the journey. His vanilla whey isolate was the best tasting I've had. Since we are close in height and starting weight, I tried to keep up with him, around week 6 he took off and my progress couldn't keep up. Nonetheless it was a success in the end in many ways.
Since I was a child, my dream was to become a Police Officer. At the age of 20, I was hired as a Community Service Officer for a police department here in the Chicagoland area. The next step to becoming a Police Officer was to pass a physical agility test. For years, I failed several attempts. A few weeks ago I passed for the first time ever, thanks to his help.
Once again, THANK YOU SO MUCH to Drew and his wife for all that they have done in helping me attain my goals. Its been a great 6 months watching the videos, cooking and working out with the Mannings!
